Vivint Arena is hosting a watch party for Game 3, and a decent-sized crowd showed up. According to Jazz officials, roughly 4,700 people came to watch the road game on the arena Jumbotron. Vivint has a basketball capacity of 18,306.
An estimated 4700 fans are at the Vivint Arena watch party, Jazz say.

Dillon Brooks playing dirty?
Late in the second quarter, after Mike Conley hit a 3-pointer in his face, Dillon Brooks appeared to hit Conley in the back down the other end of the floor as Conley defended him. The first angle of the incident being circulated on Twitter was inconclusive. A second angle of the play (see the last tweet in this section) offers more context, and shows things getting chippy both ways.

Brooks better hope the league doesn’t take a closer look at the video of him punching mike Conley in the side

I know “Rudy Gobert is a complete embarrassment to basketball” supposedly but I have to say Dillon Brooks head butting and punching Memphis legend Mike Conley in two out of the three games in this series is SUPER corny.

Mike Conley get right back into Dillon Brooks and Dillon Brooks literally threw two punches into the side of Mike Conley.
Glad to see when Rudy Gobert decks Dillon Brooks that Dillon Brooks goes after Mike Conley#faketoughguy

Taylor Jenkins gets T’d up
With 5:38 to play in the second quarter, Donovan Mitchell was fouled on a 3-point attempt by Dillon Brooks, who appeared to clip Mitchell with his hip on the way up. The crowd didn’t like the call, nor did Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins, who argued to the point of picking up a technical foul.

Good news— Dillon Brooks just picked up his first foul and we’re halfway through the 1st half.
Bad news– it came on a Donovan Mitchell 3 try. Taylor Jenkins incensed at the call and gets T’d up. Jazz lead up to 52-40.

Royce O’Neal leads 3-point barrage
The No. 1 team in the NBA during the regular season in terms of taking and making 3-pointers, the Jazz looked the part, going 7 for 15 from deep in the first quarter. Royce O’Neal took advantage of the Grizzlies’ decision to sink off on pick-and-rolls as he found himself wide open. O’Neal was 3 for 5 from deep in the first quarter.
Royce O’Neale tanking full advantage of the Grizzlies sinking off of him in pick and roll. He has 9 already, 3-4 from deep.

Death by Royce O’Neal is like death by Miranda Tate. Yeah, he’s on the floor, but come on.

The Jazz hit seven first quarter threes on 15 really good looks.

Conley returns to Memphis to mixed reaction
During interdiction of the starting lineups, Jazz point guard Mike Conley received both cheers and boos from the crowd at FedEx Forum. Conley spent the first 12 seasons of his career in Memphis, which included seven playoff appearances, before being traded to the Jazz in July 2019.
FedExForum went from booing the Jazz intros to cheering Mike Conley with a loud applause then back to loud boos for Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert and every other starter.
We’re back (but ditch that damn fake crowd noise)
— Evan Barnes〽️ (@evan_b) May 30, 2021
Brief cheers for Conley here in Memphis when announced in the starting lineup before the crowd boos the rest of the Jazz
— Sarah Todd (@NBASarah) May 30, 2021
I’d say reserved applause for Mike Conley as he is introduced at @FedExForum

And now, let’s meet the Utah Jazz …
From Ohio State, Mike Conley
